SEPAL Teaching Squares
What is the SEPAL Teaching Squares Program?
SEPAL Teaching Squares consists of four Community College Biology Instructors (CCBI's) from San Francisco/Bay Area schools meeting once a month to discuss their teaching, and visiting each others classrooms. By providing a space for peer collaboration, SEPAL Teaching Squares supports CCBI's in reflecting on their teaching and implementing aspects of scientific teaching in their classes.
SEPAL Teaching Squares Aims to:
Foster community and peer support among current part-time and full-time Community College Biology Instructors (CCBI)
Provide support for CCBI interested in infusing their teaching practice with new ideas
Grow biology education partnership efforts among Bay Area Community Colleges and San Francisco State University
How do I get involved?
If you are interested in SEPAL programs serving Community College Biology Instructors in the bay area, please contact the SEPAL Community College Teaching Square Program Coordinator,
